It normally takes two weeks from the date of receipt of the packet before DPS website is updated. It also seems that they only update your status once/week during the initial phases. Once the background check has been completed then it moves pretty rapidly.Oldgringo wrote:Our CHL 100 renewals were received in Austin on 24 October according to the USPS. Apparently, the CHL website is not updated with the same fervor as received fees are deposited? Our current licenses are good until mid-February. I'll give 'em another couple days and then chat them up.
I think the initial 2 week wait is to get you riled up and, just when you're ready to call, bam! there it is.
