Re: Alex Jones Infowars reporter arrested at home for burglary

Some minor points to consider that may help answer some questions. Taking the domestic violence charge first, I will point out that her husband is not the only family she has. Consider that her husband was also arrested, think of a case where she and her husband got into a fight with her brother. Both might be guilty of domestic violence for the same incident. Or they could both have spanked one of their children in public and someone may have complained saying it was too much violence.

Robbery is usually thought of as pointing a gun at someone and taking their money, but it is not really the only way to commit it. I just looked at the Ohio laws and it is a robbery if you commit any theft while carrying a deadly weapon, whether you use it or show it or not. Theft is defined as taking something through fraud or deception. How much of the information she received from various people was given to her because she deceived the person somehow? And being a conservative reporter, what are the odds she has a license and carries a firearm? It is entirely possible that she committed a robbery in this fashion.

Both of these examples are kind of stretching the law, but they show how a person can commit a crime while trying to do what they think is the right thing. Well, take that kind of out, they are stretching the law. And to make it more clear, it shows how a real criminal case can be made that is really politically based (i.e., would they do this to a reporter for MSNBC).

I don't know anything about the case or the person. I don't follow Infowars at all. She could be a reporter being set up for political reasons or she could have committed a real traditional robbery. All we really know is that someone convinced a grand jury to indict her for certain charges. We also know that any good DA can get any indictment they want (indict a ham sandwich is the saying).

Don't jump to any conclusions with no facts other than an arrest was made.
