true, but those horror stories are generally spread by criminals. ;-)
I don't know. Round Rock PD are the ones who tried to charge those West Texas officers of disorderly conduct because they took pictures in the parking lot of their weapons with some of the female Twin Peaks employees.

When you look up the address 3400 E. Palm Valley Blvd. (actually search only 3400 Palm Valley because of search engine bugs) on the Williamson County Appraisal District web site it comes back with NINE different owners (including city of Round Rock twice)
You have to remember that the CAD is in the appraisal business for tax purposes. There are two types of property in the Tax Code, real property and personal property. Real property is the real estate (land) and any improvements that are attached to it (buildings, etc.). Personal property is the removable stuff that is used to produce income - furniture, tools, equipment, inventory, etc.

The city is the only owner of any real property at that address, so they own the land and the buildings.
