I thought I would give you another tip if you want to embarrass an officer while they are eating. Did you know the siren will not sound while the PA mike button is pushed in? This is true even if the siren switch is in the on position so you can override the siren to give instructions to someone via the PA.
And in most patrol cars, the PA mike will stretch to the driver's door. The door and seat cushion may be close enough to wedge the button down while holding the mike there. Well, it is close enough until the driver opens his door anyway. Then things tend to get very loud very fast.

GigAg04, that was pretty good. I don't think I ever saw it happen on a traffic stop, but I know it happened quite a few times when we were eating. One of the favorite practical jokes in San Antonio was to hide the other officer's car. The whole fleet was keyed alike (by year model) so everyone had the key to everyone else' car. Three of four people eating together and it was not unusual for the last one to the restaurant to move one of the other car's before he went inside. Usually, the car was just moved around the building or something, but I know a couple times it was driven back to the station for them.
