As advice, I agree but as a legal question I disagree. Under the MPA, anyone can have a pistol in the car concealed. BUT, under the traveling exception in 46.15, the unlawfully carrying chapter does not apply. This means you can open carry if you want. The question is how to be sure you are traveling. Since the CCA says this is a fact to be determined by the jury, it is a like a roll of the dice. Knowing that, I use the keep it concealed as advice and good tactics, but knowing the law helps in case of an accident.
