At my house... we will shoot center mass until there is no longer a threat. I'm sure the "intruder" will find that action something less than "ideal", but... too darn bad.
Well, the ideal drill is to get out of the house and leave it to the bad guy, if you live in Pasadena next door to Joe Horn. He was no billed today for killing the two burglars who he watched break into his neighbor's house. In Texas that is what the grand jury says we should do.
