I learned to fly RC airplanes while guarding missiles in Germany and recognized this possible use back then. I also recognized how easily they could cross our border carrying packages, with planes like the senior telemaster being reusable if it were done right. And with this capability and that price, they could cross our border carrying non-explosive packages (drugs) that could easily be recovered. At a range of 37 miles from either side of the border, the most dangerous part of smuggling (the border crossing) is erased. And we would have as much trouble stopping them as Russia is the Ukraine's.MadMonkey wrote: ↑Sat Sep 02, 2023 1:27 amHeh. Us RC guys have been flying foamboard planes like that for a long time, I have a couple of kits sitting at home right now.philip964 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 10:53 am https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... -week.html
5 Russian jets destroyed by cardboard drones. 37 mph 75 mile range. Assembled in field. Comes flat with ikea like instructions.
Future of warfare. Made in Australia.
Unfortunately things like this just put our hobby more into the spotlight after almost 100 years of self-policing
Unfortunately, the FAA is out to kill the RC hobby anyway, because of a few idiots who do not self-police and were flying near airports and commercial flights.
