Not sure whether this helps or hurts us. Jim actually shot faster with the 10 round mags. That suggests the 10 round mags would actually be better for self defense than 15 round mags. Moreover the time differences were so small that one could argue that going to 10 round mags wouldn't make much difference in a self defense situation. And the NY reload scenario suggests that for self defense it is better to have multiple guns rather than reloading. None of that is really in our favor.

On the other hand, it also demonstrates that when it takes the police 3-20 minutes to respond, it won't make much difference if the BG has 30 round, 15 round, 10 round mags or multiple revolvers. The police are going to be too late no matter what.
