It must be possible to completely remove a natural instict.
Unfortunately, yes...

The ranks will continue to shrink until it is bred out of our society...

I'm not trying to be a "negative nancy" about the whole thing, but that's about the best way I know at this time to comment on the question...

The solution to the issue is to have more kids  and raise them up the best you can instilling the advantages to maintain a good a character and sence of duty, honor and loyalty to the founding principles of this country, and encourage them to desire to pass that on to their children...

Getting kids through the liberal system without being "etched" too much in that process is a serious concern of mine...And should encourage us not to accept:

"How was school today?", "Ehhhh, it was ok?"

Don't let "that" become a routine, but then again don't do it to be nosy or invasive in their lives...Help them understand that you are there to help them understand the subjects and lessons in school...

You could write a book about how to work this issue...And I have been known to write till the cows come home...

All I know is that when I came home from school, I was confused, I was quickly dissinterested in it, and that my parents were the ones to keep me up on the process...Much to my resistance sometimes...

I think your whole question boils down to this premise...
