Where's that put me on the scale? I'm pretty sure I'm not anything close to a radical feminist.
Even though I try my best to not get caught up in labeling people, I fail from time to time, no one is perfect...

You are the "right" kind of radical... :thumbs2:

Re: My Guns Are Pretty (And Safer Than Your Tattoos)

Other than my oversight and violation of the copyright rules of the forum...

This discussion is exactly what I had invisioned when I thought how interesting it would be to see who gets it, and who doesn't...Unfortunately, everyone seemed to get it, even the one's who were offended or didn't totally understand what the author was really illustrating...

My take on this was that your typical, liberal, progressive, radical, militant, tattoo festered feminist (there, I think I hit the key illustrative adjectives) might be the first kind of person to deny you the ability to exercise your right to keep and bear arms for lawful self-defensive purposes, much less hunting activities...And yet they might be the first to have and encourage unprotected promescuity, and abort the result of that "choice" made to conduct that activity, to dodge the responsibility and accountability...

See, it all goes back to my theory that people like us, who value an individuals moral right to defend themselves by taking a life that is threatening their own, or someone around them...We value more, the protection of life, in the taking of a life, that is a deadly threat to others; than the people who believe that it is a right to murder a life that is conceived through a series of choices (that seems to be a theme of theirs) to perform the act of conception...

The semantic corrolation of a woman (or even a man, gender doesn't really matter here to me) who is passionate about their beliefs and just happens to be tattooed, is just a catalyst to create a fairly substantive debate, with many people here who's views I respect, regardless of your personal experiences, passions, political, social and moral positions...

I hope everyone who knows me (in this forum), understands that I do look beyond a persons surface appearance and presentation, and do my best to get to know the "real" person, instead of getting hung up on things that do not effect the way that I evaluate the reality of an individual...I would think I am pretty good at that if given the time and input for me to get to know the "real" deal...
