He/She asked for ID, and your hunting tags/licence etc etc...
The mere fact that you are out there "armed" is almost a moot point don't you think?
But...
I do believe it would be acceptable and respectful of the intent of the law to identify your "other" capability (i.e.: CHL) to that commissioned law enforcement officer...
Fishing is more my fortay, and if I'm out on the water, I certainly don't leave it in the truck all day, so if I am hailed to "heave to", they will know when I am asked to produce the papers...So be it...
Lake Fork is a pretty big lake, and I'm afraid of pirates!
Works about 99% of the time...
