I think I finally impressed him with my knowledge (I guess I fooled him
), and the friends I hang out with these days...He got to sit next to a former President of the TSRA at the awards banquet that evening, and had a great time swapping stories about some of the matches and events he used to go to while he was active in the cause...
I think this re-invigorated him to get back into the fight...Time to put that "Patron" membership in the NRA to good use I suppose...
All in all it was really great to meet the folks I chat with on this forum...I look forward to the next time we can do this...
