I agree...Thats why I tend to not put a lot of weight or credibility beyond raw facts of some news story of a tangible, physical incident...Fire in a house, auto accident etc etc...

If they meld into the incident an editorial or personal comment, my radar goes up and I filter most of it out...Which seems to be 99% of the time these days...

Aguilar a role model??? :smilelol5:

Yep...Ain't that the truth!!! (now where did I put that "sarcasm" emoticon?)

Maybe I should have said it in Spanish...

"Querría al super-tamaño mi conjunto, por favor."

That way there are no ambiguities... ;-)

Nope, she takes her marching orders from me... ;-)

She actually does the behind the scenes scheduling, what they call "trafficking", but its not the "road trafficking" in the normal sense...

Unfair Park has confirmed that Aguilar -- who was just named one of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists' Broadcast Journalists of the Year -- has been indefinitely suspended, based on concerns about how Aguilar treated Walton.

Where I work indefinitely suspended means fired, sometimes the chickens do come home to roost.
Eh, slight translation difference.

"Indefinitely suspended" means she has some time to consider her misdeeds while the lawyers peruse everything. Then, she will leave the station on supposedly amenable terms to "pursue other interests", her leaving having absolutely nothing to do with the story.
We'll probably see her on Telemundo, or Univision in some market...Probably either Miami or L.A., she may be done here in Texas...But who knows...Strange things happen on TV...

"Am I a trigger-happy kinda guy?"

Answer:

"Do you want the scary answer?"

- I'll take "stupid questions from a reporter" for $200 Alex...

I bet she finds work in Houston though...If Dallas really dumps her...
