Re: WTB 223/5.56 and 45ACP ammo
45ACP plenty at local Walmart, 223/556....good luck as I think everyone with an AR is wanting and looking for this now. Freedom Munitions has a ton of .223, I mean a ton. I was really shocked how much they had. In all of their grades; New, remanufactured and Blaster. They had only about 2000 or so ...

Re: Advice on new AR
Not that this will help much but also in the Houston area, Tactical Firearms, had a pretty good stock when I was there not too long ago. I also felt their prices were reasonable. Not sure if recent events have made them hike up the prices but worth a call to them. Perhaps they'd be willing to do a F...

Re: WTB 223/5.56 and 45ACP ammo
I arrived 10 minutes before it officially opened and there were 8 people already inside. As I was leaving at least 6 trucks pulled up out front. Saying they are doing well is an understatement.PBR wrote:i bet they were pretty busy too

Re: WTB 223/5.56 and 45ACP ammo
I just got back from Freedom Munitions and surprisingly their stock was pretty good. Tons of 9mm, .40 S&W, .45ACP and .223. They had a little 5.56 on the shelves and they said they were getting another shipment of everything including 5.56 on Thursday or Friday of this week.

Re: Dianne Fienstein AWB bill insight
This is bad!! Everyone is so emotional because of what happened that this will get passed. Then once the dust settles they will update the bill and change the grandfathering measure to take all AW that are in public possession.
Write your congressmen and stop this now!!!

Trigger pulled. However, starting to look like I might not own it as long as I'd hoped. I hope cooler heads prevail on all this AWB talk. Too many people letting emotion make the decisions.

Re: Cheaper Than Dirt! suspends firearms sales
Cowards. I also saw where Walmart removed Bushmaster rifles from the shelves in the stores where they had them, and Dicks Sporting Goods is "suspending sales of 'Modern Sporting Rifles,'" which is their newspeak for AR platform rifles. Three more chains I'll never give another firearms re...

I'm sensing a pattern here. I guess I'll be listening to "She Who Must Be Obeyed" (for those that needed help with the acronym)

Gun Gifts & AR's for Christmas... (opinions wanted)
So this Christmas I'm giving some of my family guns as gifts. One in particular is an AR for my wife. I'm also receiving an AR for Christmas (I had to purchase it because it's easier with a CHL). Given recent events and the fact that 2 of my family members that will be staying at my house are libera...

Re: About to "pull the trigger" on a SIG 516...
The package I'm looking at is $1,500 out the door. That includes a SIg Sauer go bag, 3 extra PMags and some other goodies. If I wanted just the rifle, the cost would be $1400.alvins wrote:wow the 516 is 1500? i was looking at a 716 and academy has them for 1699. I would have thought they would be cheaper?

Re: Reasonably priced shot gun for duck hunting...
I've shot a whole lot of ducks and geese, back in the day, with a 3" Remington 870. That, plus a short barrel for shooting around, and in, the house is available. BTW, you will want a 12 ga. for waterfowl. Go and enjoy your "mandatory fun"; especially, if someone else is footin' the ...
