Re: Being stopped by LEO
It makes sense logically but that's very different than making sense legally.

Re: Which Newtown ad is best?
The second ad would be better if, after saying it's time to stop being silent, we hear one loud BANG and they cut to a stereotypical schoolmarm holding a smoking six gun standing over the bad guy collapsed on the floor.

Re: Help Instructor with Unique Situation
So fast forward to this past summer when I get a notice that my certification is expiring in on my birthdate in October of 2013 but now I look at my new CHL license and it has an expiration date of October 2015. Are you sure that's what the notice said? Your CHL license expires on your birthday. Ev...

Re: Mike Rowe on the cost of Higher Education
Only watched the first few minutes of the video but could tell where it was going. The only people I see around here doing "dirty jobs" are Mexican immagrants. Those who should be doing them appear to believe they are owed something better. I see kids everyday that couldn't give a rip abo...

Re: Six UH Students Robbed in Dormitory
When I was in school in was very common for people to follow others in. Nobody thought twice about it. Now they call it tailgating and many businesses have policies against it, but maybe not in school dorms. For example here's an internal communication to Seagate employees. http://www.simply-communi...

Re: Why Do So Many Repost The Original Post?
I can at times understand the re-posting of an original post with an accompanying response, but most of the time re-posting the original isn't necessary. If a question is asked, why isn't a simple answer adequate? Most especially if the response is immediately responded to after the question. I als...

At one point the BATFE men were saying a sling on a pistol magically turned it into a SBR so be very careful with your tacticool toys.

We have to show it when the peace officer demands identification, such as a drivers license. He doesn't need to specifically ask for the CHL.

Re: I hate the Un-affordable Obama Care
Right after the spawn of satan was elected the first time I got a call from my sons first grade teacher. Apparently they were discussing how elections work and the role of President. My son very enthusiastically shared my opinions. It was all I could do not to laugh as the teacher shared his colorf...

Re: NYPD shoots bystanders; suspect charged
Those who do not take responsibility for their own skills will not be materially helped by lighter triggers. The real issues are officers who place their fingers inside the trigger guard before they're ready to shoot, and insufficient range time to maintain proficiency. :thumbs2: :thumbs2: But I ah...

Re: Car Break-ins S Austin
Here comes the liberal in me: Shooting people is not the answer, finding the root of the problem is the solution; Sandbags are not the answer to flooding but until a long term solution is in place to prevent floods, sandbags are a reasonable response to the immediate problem of water threatening yo...
