Here's my timeline (this was my second renewal). Uploading documents may have cost me a month... But maybe, not judging from some other timelines.

3/14/2013 - Documents uploaded.
4/15/2013 - "CHL Assistance" email received from DPS; I replied with "What? I didn't request any assistance."
4/15/2013 - "CHL Documents Received" email received from DPS.
4/19/2013 - "The email we received on 3/14/2013 did not have any documents attached." email received from DPS.
4/19/2013 - Documents sent by email.
5/23/2013 - Status changed to "documents received, background check under review."
5/24/2013 - Fingerprints changed to "Under review."
5/26/2013 - Fingerprints changed to "Complete."
6/02/2013 - Background Check changed to "Completed", "Concealed Handgun License" changed to "Manufacturing Pending."
6/04/2013 - AM - "Concealed Handgun License" changed to "Manufacturing."
6/06/2013 - AM - "Concealed Handgun License" changed to "Mailed."
6/07/2013 - Postmarked.
6/10/2013 - Received.

And today's email...
The email we received on 3/14/2013 did not have any documents attached. You can attach them to this email and send them to me.
I do know how to attach files and upload on a web site... They were definitely sent. Looks like they lost mine.


I replied to the email and attached the scanned documents. I received an email 30 minutes later saying they had been received and forwarded to the processing department.
