Permitless Carry in Texas
Hello to all. So today I received my renewal notice for my LTC. Should I pay to renew or should I wait to see if the permitless law passes? Thanks

Re: 10 Secrets Cops Know That Most People Don't
7. Most cops don’t know the color of the people they stop before the traffic stop takes place. This is especially true when those people are driving cars with tinted windows at night.
I'd have to disagree on this one. Especially if the beat where the cop is working is predominantly _______________.

New toy I bought yesterday. Don't know anything about these guns, but figured they'd want to ban them

It's only a matter of time for us here in Texas... They won't stop until guns are banned in all 50 states...

Re: What should a certified disposition look like?
I'm sorry but I have to call you out on this. How can you say " I was charged with a more serious crime." and then say " I didnt even disclose it since I was never charged with it" Sounds as though your making up stories just to post something! Please spare us. That's what I tho...

Re: What should a certified disposition look like?
Dont worry, your case is minor compared to mine. I was charged with a more serious crime. I got deferred adjudication and was still able to get my CHL. I didnt even disclose it since I was never charged with it I'm kind of wondering about that one myself. If you were never charged with a crime, you...

Re: What should a certified disposition look like?
That's what I thought. The thing is I never went to a court for this. The jp came to the jail and let me go. He said I should not have been arrested, should have been ticketed. 15 hrs in jail was good enough. I'm just hoping this won't hang me up. Thanks Dont worry, your case is minor compared to m...

Re: Almost went to jail!!!
I like to give people a chance to redeem themselves. If and when a person validates what and who they are then that is their business. The piling on just seemed a little excessive to me. If that makes me look deficient in your eyes so be it. I am entitled to my opinion. Thanks guy... But its funny ...

Re: Almost went to jail!!!
There are some inconsistencies in this story that make me wonder if this actually happened. The OP stated he went into the restaurant, a cafeteria, and 20 minutes later the cops showed up. He then said said the cops showed up before he had a chance to order. Then he said they must not have cooked h...

Re: Almost went to jail!!!
I guess I have mixed feelings about all of this. It irks me that one half of the parties in the contract (so to speak), the sign posting establishments, do not have to post compliant signs. If someone can call the police on OCers why isn't there a way to do something about their non-compliance? We ...
