Well, of the ones I frequent (primarily because one is on my commute and the other is near family):
Elm Fork recently increased to $16
Bass Pro recently increased to $12
The new Shoot Smart (probably a good comparison) is $15 for weekdays, and $18 for weekends, with half off for the second shooter.
I guess I said I thought it was a bit pricey because my brain is stuck on prices from years ago, so anything over about $10 sounds expensive. Also, The $15 for the second shooter is a bit excessive (IMHO) when it doesn't cost the range a bit more.

Re: Lewisville:Eagle Gun Range opens 10/16/2012. CHL class t
I went and shot Saturday at the "soft opening" event for members. The facility was nice, and the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. They have nice classrooms and a lounge area too.
I think I overheard that their policy is a RO for every six shooters, and I certainly felt safe, with some kind of bullet resistant plates between the shooters' booths, an easy-to-use target retrieval system, and a heavy-duty ventilation system blowing fresh air from behind the shooters toward downrange.
I did email before the event and ask about their CHL Policy: here it is:

The regular price is $20 per shooter per day, with a $5 discount for a second shooter sharing a lane ($15). A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for in Dallas, and as I live less than a mile away, a membership was a no brainer for me.The policy for CHL holders is to conceal your firearm as you would in any other public place while in the retail area and do not remove it from your holster until you are on the range and in front of a bench. As a side note, we do not currently allow drawing from the holster to shoot, but you may remove it from the holster the first time and do not reholster until you are prepared to leave the range. The firearm must be reholstered before you leave your bench to come back into the retail area and be concealed again at that point.
