Re: The Walking Dead!
I screwed up and watched the first episode on Netflix last weekend. Spent the week watching season 1, season 2, then bought season 3 to date to get caught up. It really is a pretty cool show. I got sucked in similarly, at the beginning of Season 3. Watched a few episodes on the marathon they had th...

Re: Maid Service - Webster/Clear Lake
Can't help you with a local recommendation but - So my questions - Do you have a maid come to your house? Yes, past 6 months or so, have never had one before. I was skeptical of it at first, but the expense is worth it. - How often? Every 2 weeks. - Do you like them? I suppose? She's quiet and works...

Re: This Ain't Over Til We Say It's Over
I'm a life-long conservative, death penalty-supporting, white Republican and every day that passes I become more of a minority. Here are the hard cold facts. Obama won, the Democrats pickup seats in the Senate and in the House, and Romney got about all of the white vote possible. If the Republicans...

Re: Bad Experience
Yeah I would just take the 'if you are carrying' out of the question. If management poses it that way, just clarify with "are you asking me to leave, or can I stay?" and ignore answering the 'if' part. If your concealment has failed enough that someone reasonably guesses you're carrying, t...

The cards are a great idea, thank you! I had some print-at-home business card stock on hand and just made my own.

Re: Forgot to show LEO my CHL
Have to say, I kind of want to get pulled over while armed just so I can get this experience out of the way. Reading these horror stories, though, does not give me confidence. Haven't been pulled over in more than 10-15 years though...

Fine. You know what, let them come. Observe all they want. Just make sure they bring their cash so they can buy some good and services here, pay some sales tax, and go home.![Patriot :patriot:](./images/smilies/patriot.gif)

What blows me away in the OP's report is the completely inneffective search the so-called "security" performed. Amazing. ![Smile5 :smilelol5:](./images/smilies/smilielol5.gif)

Re: Road Rage Shooting in Houston
Regarding whether or not provoking or instigating the attack by her reckless driving excludes her from self defense, I'm reminded me of something we discussed in my CHL class. Section 9.31 (b) The use of force against another is not justified : (1) in response to verbal provocation alone; (2) to re...
