Re: I am No Longer Looking For A Shield
Just got my Shield yesterday. I haven't taken it to the range yet, but the difference in the trigger from the M&P9c is pretty obvious even with dry firing. It just seems more "crisp" to me. You pull and then feel the trigger reset. I plan to take it to the range today or sometime this ...

Re: This is why more women should carry
That's horrible.
And it's exactly why I went ahead and got my CHL. Mace is fine, but a bullet is even better when it comes to self-defense.

Thanks for the responses.
So, what I originally thought was correct. Glad that I verified.

Question about school grounds
Hi. Quick question. In my CHL class I seem to recall being told that you can carry into the parking lot of a school. We were told that the weapon had to be secured in the car and that the actual "school grounds" didn't start until you stepped onto the curb that the school and/or it's auxil...

Re: FastPass Form Error
My name was switched on my FastPass form as well. I called them the next morning and they told me that it's a known problem and that they'd fix it at my appointment. It was no problem.

Re: In chamber or no?
Every time I read a thread on this topic I wonder if I should be draining the gasoline out of my car every night so it doesn't go off by itself ... then I remember that I can prevent the "on switch" from activating and I stop worrying. :smilelol5: I don't know you, but I think that I love...

Re: is it ok to admit you are carrying
I would totally play dumb. There's no need for anyone other than my husband (or a LEO) to know that I'm carrying.

I like this range as well. This is where my CHL class did our range qualifying portion of the class. The employees there were awesome.

Re: DPS Processing Times
I sent my paperwork in July 5th. My plastic arrived August 9th.
This was for a new CHL permit.
Definitely pleasantly surprised.
