Completely agree. While I'm usually against Government interference in private enterprise, these guys are too powerful and I think anti-trust legislation may well be in order. There is absolutely NO chance of competing platforms being offered. The've got the market locked down.
Additionally, you can't claim to simply be a platform (and as such not responsible for the content of posts) if you edit, or restrict what posts users can make. Now they have accepted responsibility for the content of posts as they remove some they deem inappropriate.

That is why I used the words, "AT NO CHARGE". At no charge is not the same as free. Obviously anything and everything supplied by government is paid for by tax payers.

I've learned that there are some thing the Government should do and pay for. (I worked for a for profit jail. Holy smoke the reality of "private industry is more streamlined," (That I vocally supported until lived it.) as opposed to dead people was eye opening. I'm still very conservative, but don't trust politically driven businessmen to make good (and safe) decisions.
There is no such thing as "Free." but some things, the government should stand by and pay for. And yes, that means tax dollars. If you're governing right, the tax payers will support you. If not, elections!

I was going by a statement on TV where somebody was speaking as they took her to the capitol. I don't remember who it was, but it was a lady who then said words over her coffin. She said she was Jewish/Catholic. I commented to my wife how can you be both?

Sadly, most of the country is too illiterate and uneducated to know that JFKs enemies went after him for that same reason. What's more, both Biden and Ginsberg claimed to be catholic. (I say claimed because the Catholic religion DEFINITELY is against abortion. It's like claiming to be a Christian while not believing in God.)
The left seems to think these are merely talking points. That is what they have turned life and death issues into, thought processes. (I use the word "thought" liberally. No pun intended.)
