What about a Browning Hi-Power (or clone). Fairly slim grip. Recoil spring isn't too heavy. Pistol full steel so felt recoil is small.

Amen. My wife and I dated for 5 years. We both did some growing up that made it a much better relationship. I'm am proud to say she is my wife. It was worth the wait.

Btw, my wife has been the same way about it. She has never nagged me about my shooting but she wasn't really familiar with it. She's now coming to the range with me and I know she is considering getting her CHL.
