‘I Am Willing to Give Up Some of My Constitutional Rights…to Be Safer’
Just another example of those who teach, at all levels, twisting the system and using it to get across their views and trying to persuade others to see the same way. At least with college kids, they may already be pretty set in their way of thinking and realize what the teacher is up to. In this case, I doubt any fourth grader would have a clue. They are just following the directions of the teacher, like they are always told to do...Harvey's son attends Cedar Hills Elementary in Jacksonville, Fla. Back in January, a local attorney came in to teach the students about the Bill of Rights. But after the attorney left, fourth-grade teacher Cheryl Sabb dictated the sentence to part of the class and had them copy it down, he said.
I'm sure nothing will happen to this teacher either. I don't have a problem with issue discussions in classrooms, but these are always one sided stories we hear...
