It is my understanding that attorneys from MAIG and Bloombergs lobbyists from NY were actively working in Colorado to influence the outcome of the legislation.

We will see this everywhere.
:iagree:

He had investigators from New York travel to Arizona to try and ferret out problems with gun shows there. He is taking his resources and poking his nose into every one else's business, including those who live in other states.

Bloomberg to Fund Gun Control Ads

Well, the big city nanny is at it again. Using his personal fortune to try and sway opinions and votes. He plans to target key senators on gun control issues with ads in the media. My particular favorite about this whole thing is that it is done through Mayors Against Illegal Guns. That group claims a large number of felons among their ranks.

The commercials to be run by Mayors Against Illegal Guns feature a hunter with a rifle, vowing to protect the right to bear arms and voicing support for comprehensive background checks "so criminals and the dangerously mentally ill can't buy guns."
It is also particularly laughable that Bloomberg thinks that this debate has been one sided with the NRA as the only voice out there. I guess he thinks that the media has been completely neutral on this issue...
The ad campaign marks a push back against the National Rifle Association, the mayor said in the Times interview. "The N.R.A. has just had this field to itself," Bloomberg said. "It's the only one that's been speaking out. It's time for another voice."
