Re: So does anybody carry in their cargo pants pocket
I was going to give another heads up when it comes to certain types of clothes for in the waist carry anyway. Anything with draw strings should really be avoided for string really can get tangled up in the holster or your weapon itself

Re: New Patrol Rifle time
Why don't you just upgrade your existing weapon unless of course you just want a new rifle. Get rid of the piston upper & replace it with a new complete barreled upper like a Noveske Recce or similar. That should only cost $600-$800 & you can use your original lower & slap them together ...

Re: New Patrol Rifle time
Two words Noveske Recce. Building one is the best way & I can help you build it to your own specs & no one else's. That way you get what you want to your specs. I have built many ar's but mission specific or what I had intended to use it for. Lightweight high speed with accuracy & reliab...

Re: Requirement to pruchase handgun in Texas as (Conditional
You do have to have a current ID & be a resident to Texas. I've never heard of showing records going back to such & such bit ive never been an out of state buyer. So maybe this guy did not not like you for some reason but I would go to another store & not give him the honor of your busin...

Re: So does anybody carry in their cargo pants pocket
Pros are easy access but the cons are having a weapon loosely bouncing around in your pocket with could result in it coming out of the case or tripping the safety feature & result in accidental discharge. I would carry in a secure area on you that you feel is the most safe

Re: New member needs advice with a serious issue
Wow that's a hard one to answer. If you felt that you or your family was at risk then perhaps yes. It all depends on what type of scenario your dealing with. Your brother opened that door because that was his Niebor & sooner or later they would cross paths. But if this cat was drunk who knows wh...

Re: Gun Belt, Why?
There are no advantages other than making it hard to conseal. I bought a so called gun belt that the leather was so thick it made it very uncomfortable to carry. I opted for a TAG thin FDE basic belt & not a riggers belt either. I have that riggers though

Re: Waiting for wife to out me
Sounds like you are a pro at consealed carry. That is a gift you know,I've seen people flaming or were easy to see they were carrying a weapon. Digression is the best for carrying as a matter of fact if a cop see's your carrying a weapon that isn't concealed he or she can recommend you CHL be suspen...

I would be certain I knew the rules for the states which you are traveling. You could find yourself in trouble with other states & there guidelines on carrying weapons.

Re: Probably a dumb question but...
If its deferred it's deferred so there is no sense to bring it up. There red flag is felonies & domestic violence. So I would not mention it for if you do you will then be tracking down court documents & all that stuff. If you hesitate or don't think you can obtain a CHL because of past trou...

Re: going to a bar
That is one of those held to a higher standard rules of a CHl holder. A CHL can get into the same amount of trouble that a non CHL holder would get for unlawfully carrying. Leave it in the car & there are no worries
