I agree totally. That woman needs to have charges filed against her and her office. The Annoyed Man wrote:Angela Corey's interview comments are simply appalling, as are the lead prosecutor's. Essentially, calling the verdict a lie.

There is no such thing as a fair fight! One clown in the media I heard made the statement that Zimmerman couldn't have been afraid because he had a gun. What the heck kind of libtard convoluted thinking is this?
For those reading this thread that have proclaimed they would confront someone they believed was following them around I have to wonder if you have really thought it out. I have had folks following me around in stores that turned out to be security. They were keeping an eye on me because I was wondering around aimlessly. Big deal! I have had many situations where I thought I was being followed and it turned out the person behind me was headed in the same general direction. Challenging a person because your paranoia is getting the better of you is a good way to start trouble when no trouble existed. The proper move for an innocent person to make if they think they are being followed is evasive action or move quickly towards other people. How about calling a cop? Confronting them is just asking for trouble. Instead of calling a cop, this thug called his girlfriend, bragged he was about to beat the guy down,(and probably steal his wallet), made racial slurs about the person following him and then set up a surprise attack.
For his actions, he is dead! How anyone posting on this thread can make the statement that they would imitate Trayvon Thugs actions and expect to somehow get a different result is beyond me!

This is the first time I have had a chance to watch any portion of the trail and all I am completely perplexed but the Judge. This is a railroad if I have ever seen one.

I think anyone participating in Riots should be charged with domestic terrorism and locked up till they serve out the maximum sentence.ajwakeboarder wrote:There are predictions of race riots if Zimmerman is acquitted.http://www.infowars.com/ex-chicago-cop- ... ace-riots/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;“If you live in a large city be prepared to evacuate or put up a fight to win. You will need firearms, fire suppression equipment along with lots of food and water.
Take it with a grain of salt. The source is infowars after all. But some have said it would be better to find Zimmerman guilty, even if he's innocent, just to avoid riots. I don't understand the logic in that. Find an innocent man guilty to prevent people from breaking the law.

Do we currently ship people convicted of domestic terrorism to Guantanamo? Explain to me how threatening riots to achieve a desired outcome is any different than a terrorist threatening destruction to achieve a desired outcome.57Coastie wrote:I notice that the House passed the $642 billion defense budget yesterday, retaining the provision, over the administration's objection, permitting the indefinite military detention without trial of American citizens suspected of terrorism.Right2Carry wrote:...This is why I believe that anyone threatening or participating in riots should be charged with domestic terrorism.
Do we ship them off to Guantanamo? Just askin'.
Jim
Both rely on the destruction of property and life to achieve a desired result.

This is why I believe that anyone threatening or participating in riots should be charged with domestic terrorism.Heartland Patriot wrote:brainman wrote:I can't believe I agree with Dershowitz, but I think he's entirely correct. From a moral perspective, it matters what GZ did. But as far as murder charges go, it doesn't matter in the least what he did; the only thing that matters is what they can PROVE he did. As has been stated before, GZ didn't lose his right to self defense because he got out of his car. And the prosecutor already admitted there's no evidence he attacked Martin. Right there, the case is over.
Race really shouldn't have anything to do with this. The system is designed to require evidence to protect people of all races. Everybody in the world knows OJ did it, but hey, if the glove don't fit, you must acquit. I don't remember Sharpton or anybody else marching in the streets chanting "justice for Nicole and Ron".
Now its being said that the state's interest in this case is to prosecute and convict GZ to prevent a "race riot" ala the post-Rodney King LA Riots...that they will go out of their way to ensure GZ gets some sort of punishment to prevent said riots. Just talk, of course, but with all the overwhelming evidence being in GZ's favor, its really starting to look like there is some truth to that.
