The pack I have will also go on the belt loops and the strap is removeable. What I do like is since the zipper allows access from the top, when warranted, I can unzip and put my hand in the pack grasping my handgun while still concealing the handgun.The Annoyed Man wrote:Along those same lines is the Maxpedition Fatboy Versipack. The one complaint I have about this method of carry is that the ease of drawing the weapon is never as easy as the pictures make it look. It doesn't seem to matter if I'm pulling out a 5" 1911 or a 642 Airweight snubbie. I have large hands, and the zippers never open wide enough to make it quite as smooth as drawing from some kind of holster.
