Re: Houston West Quadrant Breakfast
If it is on a weekend day, I am also interested. I'm close to 99 and Kuykendahl. Some locations mentioned are a little bit of a hike, but not too bad on a weekend morning.

Re: Renewals
Applied online on a Monday evening. Received my new license on Thursday, two weeks later. 17 days from Monday, or actually 16 days after they had the renewal info (renewal app was completed after business hours.) Not bad at all. I had plenty of time, so I wasn't worried about it. Was expecting 30-45...

Good to see you post here again, JAllen.
That quote is spot on. I would almost rather watch hotdog weiners beinmg made than what I've seen this session.

Did anyone call her on it? Could or will they pursue perjury charges? No, it was so late, everyone was tired, and everyone wanted to go home. Had it happened early on, Sen. Birdwell would have blasted her on it. Chas. I certainly understand that but a perjury charge would be appropriate. It would g...

You should be able to access the archive video here once they load is. It doesn't appear to be available yet. http://www.senate.state.tx.us/avarchive/?yr=2015&mo=02" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Acevedo's testimony was about as irrational and lacking in logic as any I...

Re: Link to Today's TX Senate Hearing On SB11 and SB 17 (2-1
Due to work issues, I was only able to listen to the last 45 mins or so. Those of you that were able to listen to most of the hearing, what are your opinions as to which way the wind is blowing? Both bills will be voted out of committee favorably. Most of the testimony was what one would expect wit...

I thought that also, but being a total novice at this stuff, I was sure I was mistaken in some way!Charles L. Cotton wrote:It sounds like Chairman Huffman is going to vote the bills today rather than delay it for Sen. Z's amendments.

If Acevedo gets his way, and we want to open carry, we're gonna need open carry tiaras!

Re: Williamson County Annex in Cedar Park
I go there several times a year, including today. The only thing that jumps out at me is the non-tobacco use sign on the door. The court is in a secure area of the building. You are not in Austin/Travis County anymore and I would be shocked that anything in Williamson County is improperly/un-gun fr...

Well, I attended the auction today. No 30.06 posted. They do have a large "Gunbuster", No Firearms Allowed sign near the front door.

Ritchie Brothers Auction-Posted Or Not?
I tried a search here, and at Texas 3006.com, and didn't find anything in either place. Does anyone know if Ritchie Brothers Auction in Houston is posted?
Thanks in advance!

Re: I remember visiting Matamoros years ago.
After what Mexico did to Tommy Bean (from Vidor) in the late 1990's I vowed never to visit Mexico again. The corruption there is sickening and I have absolutely no use for the place. I live on the border, and any time a U.S. citizen ends up in jail for firearms or ammunition, people seem shocked an...
