I used to feel the same way, then I saw a grackle eating a cricket - gave me a whole new outlook on our friends the grackles.

The solution to the declining frog and fish population, the booming turtle population, and the explosive hog population is simple – reintroduce the jaguar in Texas. The giant cat will eat turtles and hogs as well as run off the coyotes, a win for everyone (except those that come face to face with a jaguar, but that is a whole other discussion - "Should I use a 9mm or .45 on a jaguar?")
