Re: Forth Worth & Dallas Zoos
Today is the day of reckoning for the FWZ. Will drive there after work to see if the sign is still up. :confused5 I dropped by a couple of hours ago and the sign is still present just to the west of the main ticket booth. Will be preparing the affidavit within the next couple of days and getting it...

Interesting article, thanks for posting. Makes me want to reach out to collectors, although the ones likely to become violent are likely beyond reach.

Re: How to report improper §30.06 signs
I have a question and please excuse me if this was answered elsewhere. Hospitals are statutorily off limits due to PC §46.035(b)(4), if they post a 30.06 sign per subsection (i). Does this mean a county hospital can legally post a 30.06 sign even though it is owned by a government entity? Yes. Any ...

Husband of the woman being interviewed says he blames the shooter, not the gun.

Re: An Alcoholic Drink While Carrying
Voice of Reason, I am the caretaker of my brother who is mentally retarded (grew up with that term and it doesn't bother me.) He is high functioning, healthy, likes beer, lives alone next door, doesn't drive so I take him to the grocery store where he shops for his own groceries and pays with money ...

My belief is he was going to lock her up with some cuffs on the side of the road to teach her a lesson about respect. Give you something to cry about as dear old dad would say. She didn't respond correctly and it blew up in his face, but he didn't seem to mind to just let it escalate. Cops are suppo...

Further information coming out. The DPS released the complete and raw dash cam video from the arresting officer. Due to language I won't embed or link the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URAZ3umt7v0 Some observations. I believe it is Ms. Bland's vehicle that fails to stop prior to entering th...

Interesting thread. I joined the Army Reserves at age 17 while still in high school, split my basic training and AIT so I could finish my senior year. I spent the next 12 years in the USAR, and I left the Reserves as an E-4, irritated I was passed over for E-5 after PLDC because I didn't have enough...

The way I see it, cops can request ID from anyone but usually that person doesn't have to provide it (see PC section 38.02). However, if you are carrying openly they can still demand your ID, and now you have to show it or you will be in violation of 411.205. Can't beat that rap or ride. IANAL Fixe...
