Colorado is a shall-issue conceal-carry state. However, city councilmen have banned concealed carry in 13 Colorado cities.

These are the13 Colorado cities that ban concealed carry:

Aurora, Boulder, Broomfield, Colorado Springs, Denver, Englewood, Lakewood, Littleton, Longmont, Northglenn, Pueblo, Thornton, Westminster, Wheat Ridge

And only one city in the entire state has banned having a loaded gun in your car:

That city is Aurora.

So, Colorado may have what some call lax gun laws, but in this case the bad guy made sure he picked the ONE CITY in all of Colorado where he could be almost 100-percent sure that he would not be faced by a good guy permitted to carry a concealed weapon who could have brought him down. All that these heavy gun laws do is keep the guns in the hands of the bad guys and out of the hands of the good ones. Something to think about.
So I'll be riding through CO in a couple weeks on my motorcycle on my way to Sturgis. Are you saying I can't conceal carry while riding through these cities? This is the first I've heard of this. I have the 2012 edition of "Traveler's guide to the firearm laws of the fifty states" It say's nothing of this.
I would really like to know before I travel through. I'm actually camping a couple nights in the CO Rockies too.
