I already posted two 90's song: The Freshman by The Verve Pipe and Scar Tissue by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
To keep up with that 90s theme, how about some Alice in Chains?
I like this song because of the story behind it. This song was written by Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell for his father Jerry Cantrell Sr., who went by the nickname "Rooster" while serving with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. His dad was an M60 gunner with the 101st who served 2 tours in Vietnam.
Anyway, here's Rooster by Alice in Chains. I think its a pretty powerful, emotional song.
