Re: Mini Rant over HB910 and Horizontal Shoulder Holsters
RULE 2 NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY I don't flag. I don't like being flagged. A pistol in a holster that properly covers the trigger isn't sweeping or flagging or muzzle covering or whatever you want to call it. It's an inert object with regards to safety and ...

Re: CJ Grisham announcement
Be careful... Somehow Stickland was elected and we saw how that freak show went. Very well, for the voters that voted for him. I understand some folks on here don't like Strickland; but he ran a campaign based on what he said he was going to do, and then he did it. The voters not only went for it t...

Re: Mini Rant over HB910 and Horizontal Shoulder Holsters
Hope this isn't in the wrong forum area, but for curiosity sake, how many of you practice shoulder holster carry? I have always considered it but was afraid it would be uncomfortable (I had to wear an immobility harness once for an injury and it was terrible). I carry a Glock 19...any holster recom...

164 'til Open Carry. And Happy Moon Walk day to all y'all! 3 days to Open Carry for me. My 18 year old son and I will cross the New Mexico border on Thursday at about 1300CDT. I'll carry openly until we again cross the Texas-New Mexico border as we return Aug 3. We are heading to Tucson, AZ, to fly...

Re: Mini Rant over HB910 and Horizontal Shoulder Holsters
IMHO anyone OCing in a shoulder holster is nothing more than an attention seeker. Hopefully we won't see much of this type of carry. I wouldn't carry openly with a horizontal shoulder rig. I don't like to be swept with a gun muzzle, and wouldn't do it to anyone else. My S&W 60 rides well in a G...

Very broad generalizations and he failed to mention a Hawaiian shirt or fanny pack. We all know that if they're worn together that equals DEA:-)

Re: So what's the new signage going to be?
I again urge everyone who decides to openly carry to be a statesman. If one is asked to leave by an owner, agent or employee of a property owner, it would be prudent to leave. If you ask for a supervisor, then you have legally refused to leave upon being asked to do so. This raises the offense from...

Re: So what's the new signage going to be?
Asking to speak with management is proper and sometimes required. Certainly doing so certainly doesn't equate to OCT type activities. How exactly is asking to speak with anyone other than the employee that informed you proper? If you speak with a mangager and they tell you the same exact thing, are...

Re: CLEAT: LEOs will pay the ultimate price for open carry
All I can say is the hard data obtained directly from the CHL program itself renders his statements mute. Mr. Wilkinson should no better than to try such antics. Theatrics aside, when in two years or so what he has said has not materialized, his influence and that of CLEAT will have diminished.
