Re: Gexa Energy Pavilion
Sorry, I am just now seeing this. They actually saw the bottom of my mag holster (OWB, my holster was IWB) and thought it was a pocket knife. The security guy (wearing a yellow t-shirt) asked me to return my pocket knife to my car, so I went to the back of the line, dropped everything in my cargo pocket, and went right through. I had my CHL in my hand, but really didn't want to cause a scene or get into a debate about the law with anyone. I just wanted to see the show.Zoti wrote:How did they search for pocket knifes without a metal defector.Rrash wrote:I was there tonight. No problems. Their "security" inspects bags, blankets, etc., but no metal detectors - not that it would matter legally. They did look for pocket knives, so make sure to put it in your pocket as opposed to clipped on your belt.

Re: Gexa Energy Pavilion
Blankets are allowed, but no lawn chairs. They saw my knife clipped to my pocket. I walked back out, put the knife deep in my pocket, and walked back in. I did have my ID and CHL in my hand in case I was stopped, but never needed it.Zoti wrote:Did they not allow blankets?Rrash wrote:I was there tonight. No problems. How did they search for pocket knifes without a metal defector.
