Re: Sig 938 rental - not
Yeah I can't stuff my 238 in a pocket either. I figure it is best to wear a small holster with it. I have two to choose from depending on my mood. A Comp Tac Infidel or my D.M. Bullard Dual Carry. The Dual Carry is nice cause it's tuckable. The Comp Tac is nice cause it is thinner and less of it con...

Re: Sig 938 rental - not
You won't have trouble racking the slide but hanging on to it may be of some challenge. I already own the P238 and it can be a bit tricky to hang on to. I highly recommend the extended mags. Even if I limp wrist the gun it still fires just not accurately. Never a malfunction from my P238 and when I ...

Re: 1911 Holster
My vote goes to the D.M. Bullard Dual Carry. I have owned a couple of them. Great holster. Has the right amount of cant and holds up very well.

Re: ditching the XDs45, looking at the Sig Carry Nightmare
I have 50 rounds thru mine but I feel more is needed to decide if the XDS is worth carrying. I still muddle along with my P238. Really wanting my next purchase to be a new rifle. Haven't decided which one though. Really considering a pistol caliber carbine. Anyway back to the Sig, you'll be happy. G...

Re: Red Light Camera
I think the camera operated speed traps are the worst. They have them here in New Orleans and boy they are smart where they set them up. Here in Gretna LA they have a Ford Escape loaded with all the equipment. They parked it at the foot of an on ramp! You have to be accelerating to get up the ramp i...

Get the .40 instead you'll be glad you did! It's a serious tack driver.

Re: ditching the XDs45, looking at the Sig Carry Nightmare
The weight is a downer (pun intended) on the SA EMP .40 all steel really gives it some heft. I still regret selling it
It was probably one of the best shooting guns I had owned in sometime.

Re: Urgent: XDs recall...
Still waiting to here why it was doing this to start with. The update was just to keep the public from getting rowdy lol. They had to say something since they already claimed that they would update the situation. I may call them just to see if I can actually speak with a real person since I have yet...

Re: ditching the XDs45, looking at the Sig Carry Nightmare
My buddy has a Sig 1911 and now he also has my SA EMP .40 both are outstanding firearms. I regret selling him my EMP .40 as I used part of the funds to buy a XDS 9mm. I also have a Sig P238 and it's perfect as well. My wife has considerable experience with Sig as well military training weapon... Tha...

Re: Disparity of force (Motorcycle Gang Incident in New York
I don't know what started it but when the RR clearly ran over someone elses property he was egging them on. That's not something I would have done. I have ridden bikes all my life and I wouldn't have continued to chase that guy like that but either way if I was the range rover guy I wouldn't have be...

Yes the grip safety is metal.
After all this reading I am very tempted to completely take mine apart. It shouldn't be too hard to do either. I am waiting to see what comes about on Friday. We are supposed to get some type of update hopefully.

Re: Urgent: XDs recall...
I can speak about returning one you bought without a receipt in a FTF transaction. I have sent one firearm back to SA twice. They provided me with label to ship and did all work for free. I bought the gun from a member here in a FTF transaction. I had no original receipt of purchase or anything. The...

Re: Quick question for you guys on a comfort factor...
I would suggest the best scenario to be carrying them OWB. Second in the pocket and last in IWB. You have to contend with your shirt in the way possibly needing two hands to grasp it etc. Too much trouble, I will say the only mag carrier I tried was hybrid kydex/leather one and the mags just fit so ...
