Shared Service Center Accounting Opportunities

The AutoNation Shared Service Center is currently seeking a range of accounting professionals for entry, junior, and supervisor level positions.

Positions available are:
General Accounting Associates
General Accounting Supervisor
Accounts Payable Associates
Accounts Receivable Associates
Data Entry Associates
Payroll Associates

Job responsibilities may include some or all of the following:
Prepare journal entries
Perform reconciliations and account analysis
Audit various records to verify accuracy
Researching and correcting account discrepancies
Post ACH bank transactions
Apply customer payments
Registering products via mail or website
Recording incoming inventory
Required Experience
Understand basic accounting principles and logic
Communicate effectively with customer base
Produce high- quality work while under deadline pressure
Protect confidential information
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Be highly organized; have excellent follow-up and prioritization abilities
Work extra hours occasionally during month end deadlines
Working knowledge of MS office software - MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Office.
ADP system experience preferred, but not required
