For what its worth, I like to look at least two samples of anything I buy. She only had one in stock, so I wanted to prepay in advance to order another one (
long story, but there were some cosmetic issues with my first purchase several months ago, but Ruger really DOES have outstanding customer service and fixed the scratches and a few nicks from a brand new gun) and take the best of two. Purely cosmetic. I asked if I could do that, again, willing to pay in full upfront....no answer.
I have no hard feelings at all, just disappointed in the lack of communication. I absolutely
prefer to support the local businesses, but on this one, I've already arranged to get the same item at Bass Pro. They're matching the price and have 3 in stock. Picking it up tonight.
