Also, its up to you as to how many responsible persons you have on the trust to start off. You can always go the route of getting the trust, purchasing a variety of items, and eventually adding family members/friends to the trust at a latter date. That's another one of the benefits of a trust.

I would tend to agree with winters on this. We actually set our trust up in such a way that it should stand the test of time with multiple generations and hopefully make the family collection something that gets passed down instead of sold at the first chance. Besides, its still useful if you buy anything in the next couple months
