I disagree. If we're going to take on that responsibility, we should treat it as a responsibility, and work towards training ourselves. I can't say 100% sure that I would have dropped the gun any quicker (or even before opening the door), but I know I'm going to be thinking about this incident, and using it as part of my "homeowner's training"."Police officers are supposed to be trained to handle these situations," Scott said.
