I've read the studies that show texting or talking on the telephone while driving causes the same degree of impairment as driving legally drunk.
There is a lot of safety literature in this area.
almost all of these "studies" begin with an agenda. Give me any topic, tell me the result you want, and I can conduct a study that will draw the desired conclusion.
