Not offensive at all. Your posting served to remind me that there are many people out there who resort to sensationalism to get their point across. It is up to us to build our own information filters in our minds, as requiredMoJo wrote:I never looked at the source FB account. It came from a very trusted friend so I assumed it was OK. My apologies to all who were offended by the remarks. I know what assumed means and I reckon I did it.

Re: From a FB friend in Michigan
I took the bait, and visited the source page shown in the OP.
I was quite disgusted by the race-baiting commentary that was going on. Virtually every comment was something along the line of, "if this were white people, nobody would care". "Since these are black men, SWAT will get called out.", and more garbage like this. The issue is not the color, but in the fact that they're being carried in the hands in a much more ready position than if there were properly holstered or slung over the shoulder with a 2-point sling.
I thought to myself, "This is just a way of using one polarizing issue (open carry, guns in general) to push another polarizing agenda (race).
But then I dug deeper and found that the source was NewsOne - Black America’s #1 News Source: Our News. Our Voice. Stirring the 'race' pot seems to be their forte'. Talk about carrying in a manner calculated to cause alarm...I'd say using this picture to highlight the discussion fits the bill for that site.
