Re: Let's talk knives.

I'm a big fan of Rick Hinderer's design, so I started with a Kershaw Cryo2 blackwash, for $40 it's the best for the money knife I've ever had and I carry it at work. I wanted to jump into a higher end knife and still stay with the Hinderer design so I went with a Zero Tolerance 0560 ($200)and was bl...

Re: Carried at Cook Childrens all morning

Anyone know about Medical City in N Dallas? TX3006 says they have the wrong sign but I'm wondering if it's been changed yet. My 4mo daught will have to have Cochlear Implants in the coming months and I'm just wondering if I can carry there or not.

Re: CHL used to when buying a gun...

Yes, but some stores will always run a BG Check - :grumble I would tell them they would not be getting my business. I've personally never ran into that situation though. I've bought a lot of guns and I've never run across anyone who wanted to call in after seeing my CHL. Shoot smart did it to me, t...

Re: Looking for CHL Friendly Hotels Near Riverwalk

How can you tell Hilton hotels are not gun friendly? Is this just a SA thing or a nation thing? I usually try to stay at Hampton Inns and never see anything antigun.

Re: Gexa Energy Pavilion

Carried my G26 in RCS Phantom last night to the concert. Just like everyone else said above, no 30.06, no metal detectors, just their employees looking through bags. I was a little worried when I got in and saw all the alcohol vendors so I looked around for the 51% sign but didn't see any. I guess m...

Re: First Time seeing this

The only advantage theaters have going for them is new releases. Most stuff I can wait till it comes out on blu ray but there's a few movies a year I go see at the theater just because I get impatient.

Re: Gexa Energy Pavilion

Hate to bring up an older post but the wife and I are headed to the Blake Shelton concert next weekend and I've thought about carrying. Anyone been recently to see if things have change since the poster above went in September?

I have a DA'd state jail felony from 10 years ago, my background check took around 3 weeks. Do you have something in your background that would cause the holdup?

Re: March 2014 Applications

Going on 59 days from app submitted, updated to background and fingerprints under review last Saturday. With a DA'd state jail felony 10 years ago in my background I expect the wait, just wish it would hurry up.
