Re: Buying guns as a lady......
I have good experiences with Nagels Gun shop in San Antonio, they are a little higher priced but in my opinion, well worth the extra $10 for the service and time they give when you are there.

Re: Buying guns as a lady......
Was in the Academy in Arlington a few months ago to restock my cleaning kit and overheard a sales kid telling a woman that the revolver she was looking at was a semi auto because the cylinder will turn to the next round and fire as long as she pulled the trigger. Ok I know a few women that would fa...

Re: Buying guns as a lady......
Sadly the "kid" at academy was the manager, I contacted a gun store in san Antonio that will order for me and beat academys price by $50. The whole time at academy this "kid" was bashing everyone's gun choice because its not what he would shoot. The funniest part is he was maybe ...

Keep in mind this is a large gun that shoots .410/.45LC and .454 casull. As soon as I asked to se...

San Antonio Area?
I am relatively new to the San Antonio area, I lived in the Austin area for 30 years before moving here. Are there any other women here in my area?
I am actually SE of SA in a small town called La Vernia. It's very nice to be around women who get the whole "gun thing".

Re: Old Deffered?
Thank you so much for your reply, can you tell me where I can find the list of offenses that will prohibit someone from getting a CHL? I did call him and he did confirm that the original charge was Theft by check but it was changed to Hot checks or something like that. I am assuming we will have to ...

Old Deffered?
My fiance has a Deffered Ajudication from 1991 or 1993 that was theft by check and was classifed as a 3rd degree felony. He is allowed to purchase guns with no issue but since it was a Felony can he get his CHL? I have read conflicting information based on this. Some are saying if it is a deffered i...
