Re: Congress Strikes Major Blow to the Westboro Wacko's

Adding my appreciation for a young lady raised correctly. Mizzou/Columbia is a top-shelf school. I've hired many a graduate from there and was never disappointed with either their ability, initiative or work ethics.

As a veteran, I disagree 100% with Congress stepping in. We have a First Amendment that guarantees the right of assembly and freedom of expression. What is to stop a Demo-controlled Congress, someday, from doing the same thing to Patriot Riders if liberal town residents complain about "being frightened of rough looking motorcycle riders?"

Or that all those flags present an eyesore?

Or.

Or.

The physical walls of separation are doing more to deflate the Topeka freakshow than anything our inept, braindead "regime-minded" Congress and gov't can do.

If the Congress really wanted to deal with these inflammatory issues, they'd issue a law stating that "you reap what you sow." Translation: If you burn a flag to upset a group of people, do not be surprised if they get so upset that they "adjust" you in such a way that you'll think long and hard before trying to intentionally upset a group of people again.

Same with the Topeka freakshow (I refuse to call them a church or Baptists). If they needed some dental work and reconstructive surgery after prancing and waddling around yelling "GOD HATES SOLDIERS" and other such vile crap ONLY to rile and inflame folks, all their gas and transportation money would be going to plastic surgeons.

*Shrug* Dunno. I guess us ol' west Texas country folks were raised a bit different. Back there and back then, if you intentionally insulted another man, you'd either better been able to back it up or you were going to be spitting teeth.

We were pretty polite and tolerant of each other back then. If we weren't, there was always a price to pay.

I'd much rather go in that direction than any direction the gov't mandates us in.
