I've been looking around and the mossberg plinkster and Marlin 795 are about the same price any reccomendations?
Edit from what I've been reading the Marlin 795 seems to be the way to go.

A New (cheap) .22
Hello. I'm looking for my second gun. I turned 18 and bought a mosin for my first rifle. I love it, but the ammo is getting way too expensive (I like to go at least every other weekend). I also want to introduce a girl who was slightly afraid of guns to shooting and I have a feeling the mosin would be a very bad start.
I looked at the 10/22 and I want something a bit cheaper. Something around $100. I looked at the Marlin 60, but don't like the tubular magazine(too easy for new people to laser themselves and I want to put in their heads that that is NOT EVER ok ).
I read something about a mossenberg, but couldn't find it.
