Towns in New Jersey are refusing work crews from the south because the crews are not union. Once a little time has passed, and the national media has found something else to myopically focus on, they'll forget all about the troubles they've had. Kinda like the initial gun-ban-reation to Aurora & Wisconsin eventually went away.
But don't get me wrong. I would love for the people of the east cost to wake up & realize that their self-imposed nanny states have been reversing evolution. But I'm a realist at heart.
