This story was told to me as the truth.
Years ago at one of the local plants two guys were always hoo-rahing one another. After one returned to work after being shot in the head by his estranged wife, his unsympathetic buddy christened him with the moniker, "Lead Head". The agitator gave no mercy. He put embossed "Lead Head" labels on the victim's locker, lunch box, hard hat, anywhere he could. Of course, all the co-workers quickly adopted the new moniker to the point that years later, new co-workers never knew ole Lead Head by any other name.
A few years later the agitator was dove hunting when he received a couple of #8 BB's in his behonkus courtesy of a fellow hunter. Without going into detail, it should be easy to guess what his new moniker was....
Karma is a heavy burden to shoulder.
