Re: Advice for a newbie - .45 ACP
Thanks for the advice. Sounds like pretty much what I had found and was thinking, just wanted to double check since this will be my first attempt.

Advice for a newbie - .45 ACP
Hi all, Last spring I finally got a Lee reloading setup. At the time I wasn't able to find much for components, got some primers but that's it. The other day I finally got some bullets and powder. I found a box of Speer lead bullets and Unique powder. I have a couple books and have been researching ...

Re: CHL Status *New Member*
My best bet once its there is to forget about it and let it come as a surprise. Yep, that's what you should do. Of course, that's what I told myself also but I couldn't keep myself from checking the website a couple times a day while waiting!! It took two weeks from the time they received my paperw...

I went ahead and assembled everything (minus a barrel) this weekend just so it was back together and not laying in pieces in the garag...

New Haven 600AT
Hello all, I have an older shotgun I got when I was 11 yrs old (and I got many a rabbit with it in my younger years!). The receiver says "New Haven by Mossberg, 600AT". From all the research I've done it seems to be the same as a Mossberg 500 (12 gauge pump). This has sat for many years an...

Re: Shopping this weekend
Great, guess that means I'll have to make a decision on what to get. Or maybe something completely different, lol.

Shopping this weekend
So I'm going to go to the gun show in Conroe this weekend (it's been many years since I've been to a show). After reading a bunch on this forum, I decided to start getting parts to build an AR15, and I figured I'd check out what they had for lowers at the show. But now I've been reading up on the Mo...

Re: Shopping for youth-sized .22 :: Advice Welcome!
I'll throw another one in: Remington 514 single shot bolt action, $129 at Academy. My 10 yr old son just bought one this past weekend with his birthday/lawnmowing money. He has had a BB gun for a couple years, and we are actively involved in Cub/Boy Scouts. I have worked with scouts on shooting skil...
