Re: WTB 223/5.56 and 45ACP ammo

Glad you made it by the store. I don't know the owners personally, but I've probably seen them at Impact Zone. I understand they shoot WHIDPA.

The subject matter in this thread is a bit too scattered to move it to the "Commercial Deals" section, so we'll leave this Topic open for a few more days.

Not extensively; probably a total of about 300 in two calibers. Been just fine so far.

They have three different "grades" (for want of a better word): brand new, remanufactured, and "blaster." Their manufacturing process is pretty impressive, including pressure testing all brass, and after reaming the primer pockets the cases are acid washed, tumbled, then roll-sized. The "blaster" ammo is made to exactly the same standards using the same bullets as the standard remanufactured ammo, but in the final sorting and packing process some small percentage of the cases don't look quite as pretty--don't look brand new--and those rounds get sorted out for the "blaster" line. A little bit cheaper, and fine for the range.

BTW, if you end up deciding that you're no longer in the market to buy the ammo from another member here, just put that in a post and I'll close and move the Topic.

Yes. The retail location at 290 and Jones Road (in the strip center near Harbor Freight) opened officially just nine days ago and is a full-function retail site.
