If you ever take an advanced handgun course of two days or more, think seriously about avoiding a firearm that is manual decocking.
You may be required to fire over 500 rounds per day in short strings of one or two rounds, and you have to do it according to the manual-of-arms for your particular handgun. For manual decockers like a Beretta 92, that means flesh-tearing wear on your thumb like you can't imagine.
